  I've often driven past this place on my way to Long Beach. I can't believe I've missed this little gem of diner for so long. The food was great, hearty home style portions. The service was top notch, including the manager/owner of the restaurant, who not only took our order, but was hands on all over the place. Then there are the trains. Yes, two model trains leisurely chugging overhead as part of the decor. It was fun to watch. Sunrise Cafe has become one of my new favorite places for good food in a relaxed, family atmosphere.

  I love this place. Everytime our family comes to California we come to eat breakfast here. The staff and the food is amazing. The prices are great. $ We don't mind the drive even if it takes an hour we always make it. It's a tradition now. The Medina's Family loves this place

  Awesome little small town feeling diner in a big city, and that's hard to do! The owner came and chatted with my wife and I for a few minutes, super nice as well as his wife! Great breakfast food!
